Cory Hutchinson-Reuss grew up in Arkansas, earned her PhD in English from the University of Iowa, and now lives and writes in Iowa City. Her poems have appeared in Timber, Slice, Zone 3, Pangyrus, the Missouri Review online, and elsewhere. A collaborative chapbook of her poems and the visual art of Giselle Simón was recently published as part of the PromptPress Gallery Series. Cory serves as an advisory council member for Iowa City Poetry, as a poetry reader for The Adroit Journal, and as Associate Poetry Editor for Brink. Find her on Instagram @atasteforthebitters.
Christopher Eck is an artist and teacher living in West Liberty, Iowa.
His current work centers on several independent projects of music, poetry, fiction, and memoir. Active feature titles are Open The Door, Have A Nice Apocalypse, How To Draw A Knife, Growing Up Dead, and Mirror Match.
He is grateful to collaborate with artists at Owl Glass Puppetry Center, Dynamic Music Studios, Family Folk Machine, Small But Mighty Songwriters, and others.
Rachel is a teacher, Iowa City Parks and Recreation Commissioner, tree enthusiast, chatty Cathy, and packrat. She has taught ELL/ESL & Family Literacy at Kirkwood Community College, Oakdale Prison, and in English schools in Barcelona. She currently teaches Shakespeare workshops in Iowa City public schools through Riverside Theater’s outreach program, Will Power. Longtime interests include Amtrak train travel, comedy, and translation. Rachel’s friends know her best for lengthy cell phone voice notes and for sometimes carelessly getting stuck on mountaintops.
